Dear A Mahalingam,

I am very happy to hear about your initiative of forming the Association for Healthcare Management Professionals (India) to provide a consistent platform for healthcare professionals to exchange innovative ideas, latest global technological developments, socio-medical implications and take appropriate initiatives to keep pace with such advancements.

Good health is God’s gift and it is necessary to lead a normal and happy life. Healthcare is also a basic human right. The central principle of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is to ensure that no one is left behind. Accessibility and affordability are serious problems, particularly in India.

Creation of a network of like-minded individuals with the aim to increase efficiency to make the availability of quality healthcare more reasonable and reachable to the marginalized is price worthy. Bringing the brightest minds together can prove to be a great boon for accomplishing health-related goals for the country’s progress.

It is a laudable initiative and I deeply appreciate it. I wish and pray that God bless you and all your humanitarian endeavours to AHMP (India).
